King's Fire Service Medal Miniature

The King's Fire Service Medal (KFSM) is an award presented to UK fire service members who have demonstrated distinguished service or gallantry, or have shown conspicuous devotion to duty while dealing with serious or widespread fires or other catastrophic events. This prestigious medal was first established in 1954 by the Home Office for members of the fire service in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, and by the Scottish Government for members of the Scottish Fire Service.
