Around 1900 awards of the DCM were made during World War Two with nine recipeints receiving a bar.
As with the First World War, awards were made to foreign nationals and in the main these were issued un-named, all awards to UK troops were awarded with impressed naming although some awards made for the Far East were engraved locally.
